  KRIBHCO believes in maintaining international standards for plant operation and environment preservation. In   this pursuit, KRIBHCO has obtained certification from International Organisation of Standards (ISO) for its   Quality Policy (ISO 9001 : 2000) and Environment Policy (ISO 14001:2004).

  ISO 9001:2000 – QUALITY POLICY

  The certification for Quality Policy (ISO 9001 : 2000) has been obtained from M/s IRQS (Indian Register Quality   Systems) on Aug 12, 2004 and is valid till Aug 11, 2007.

  Management of KRIBHCO, Hazira plant is committed to operate and maintain its Fertiliser Manufacturing   Complex through Quality Assurance, Environmental Protection and to the satisfaction of customers.

  KRIBHCO - Hazira plant shall achieve this Quality Policy through following objectives :

  •   Continually upgrading technology to improve plant efficiency and reliability.

  •   Maintaining and improving the safety and environmental performance.

  •   Improving the skills and knowledge of personnel.

  •   Continuously improving the quality management system.

  ISO 14001 – ENVIRONMENT POLICY

  The certification for Environment Policy (ISO 14001:2004) has been obtained from M/s BVQI (Bureau Veritas   Quality International) and is valid till January 21, 2007.

  Care for environment is an integral part of conducting business in KRIBHCO. During Urea manufacturing   operations and related activities at Hazira, the top management of Kribhco is committed to :

       Complying with applicable laws, regulations and other requirements it prescribes to.

       Continually into its environmental performance

       Select / preferred options leading prevention of pollution

       Conserve natural resources.

       Create green environment

  Kribhco Hazira plant maintains and environmental management system, confirming to ISO 14001 implement   this policy. While allocating resources, environmental management shall receive priority.
