Post: Asstt. Chemist (Lab)
Department: Bio-Fertilizer Plant- Varanasi
Grade: K
Qualification: 3 Years full time B.Sc. (Microbiology) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks
Experience(as on 30th June 2024): Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience (post-qualification) in a Biofertilizer Plant/Microbiological Lab preferably having relevant knowledge and exposure of microbial consortia development and mass production.
Age limit (as on 30th June 2024): Age should not be more than 35 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 34,000/- Rs. 76,000/- Basic pay of Rs. 34,000/- per month with Industrial DA + Other allowances & benefits
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. He / She shall be responsible as in-charge for KRIBHCO Varanasi Bio-fertilizer plant for production, quality control of liquid bio-fertilizers as per FCO norms and plant safety.
2. He / she shall be responsible for looking after all day-to-day activities, all types of procurement planning, production planning, setting up of the process of production, QC & QA, preservation and maintenance of microbiological cultures, logistics management of Bio-fertilizer Plant, preventive and breakdown maintenance.
3. He / She shall be required working in team for improvement in process, quality and productivity.
4. He / she shall be responsible for ensuring optimal manpower (qualified and unskilled) for smooth functioning of plant.
5. He / she shall be responsible for carrying out all works in systematic way under the knowledge and supervision of In-charge, Bio-fertilizer plant at Hazira.
6. He /she shall ensure posting of all analytical results in SAP on daily basis. and maintaining records and reports properly.
7. He /She shall be responsible for calibration of instruments involved in carrying out various analyses.
8. He / She shall be responsible for maintaining the plant in working condition with availability of chemicals, instruments and equipment.
9. He /She shall be responsible for maintaining good house keeping and handling of all chemicals in a safe manner.
10. He / She shall be responsible for execution of contract (ARC/AMC).
11. He /she shall be responsible for preparation of budget proposal in coordination with In-charge of Bio-fertilizer plant, Hazira.
12. He / She will be required to ensure use of safety standards in compliance of company guidelines.
13. He /She shall be responsible for maintaining good liasioning with statutory bodies of Government, local authorities and KRIBHCO marketing etc.
14. He /She shall be responsible to ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
15. He /She will be responsible to monitor and lead R & D team for new projects in allied fields.
16. Perform other duties as assigned by HOD.
